Natasha Akpoti has shared photos of the injury she sustained after an auto crash.
The Kogi Central senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 25 general election was involved in a ghastly motor accident on Friday, April 14, on the Abuja-Lokoja highway.
She was on her way to Abuja and returning to Lokoja for the Sunday governorship primary when her Sports Utility Vehicle hit a curb on the road, injuring the passengers in the car.

The politician, who was unconscious, was rushed to the Federal Teaching Hospital, Lokoja, where she was resuscitated.

Giving an update days after the incident, she wrote on Instagram: “To God be all glory, I survived another accident on Friday the 14 of April 2023 along Abuja- Lokoja highway.
“Many thanks to the diligent staff of FMC Lokoja who swiftly stabilized me and organized my transfer to another facility in Abuja.
“But for a few stitches on my face and crack on a bone; I should be up and about soonest.
“The driver is unhurt, thankfully saved by an airbag.”
“For all it’s worth mentioning… is the love and prayers from family, friends, and well-wishers, which are deeply appreciated.”
This comes weeks after Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan filed a tribunal challenging the results of her senatorial election.
