Success, the wife of Prophet Umueke Miracle, the leader of Dynamic Flame of Fire and Miracle Ministries, has accused her husband of bigamy, infidelity, and unlawful confinement. She alleged that despite being legally married to her, Prophet Miracle secretly married another woman and paid her bride price while also keeping a third woman in his home.
In an audio recording obtained by a popular tabloid, Mrs. Miracle said, “He married me legally and then married another woman and also brought another girl. He can sleep with anything in a skirt.”
She further claimed that her husband used the police to intimidate her and restrict her movements.
Pastor Arrested Over Wife’s Alleged Confinement
Earlier, the platform reported that Prophet Miracle had been arrested for allegedly detaining his wife, Success, for five days in a house in the GRA area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The Rivers State Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbenga Adepoju, confirmed that the pastor had been taken to the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for further investigation.
Speaking on her ordeal, Mrs. Miracle alleged that her husband had long used coercion and control to suppress her. She claimed that after she reported him to the police, he retaliated by filing a counter-complaint against her at the State CID.
“He knows I am aware of all his secrets. I want to free people’s souls from his cage,” she said, accusing him of deceiving the public while engaging in extramarital affairs.
Allegations of Domestic Violence and Financial Control
Mrs. Miracle further accused Prophet Miracle of domestic abuse, claiming he frequently beat her, confiscated her SIM cards, and restricted her communication.
“He beats me and no longer comes close to me. I have endured enough,” she lamented.
She also alleged that the pastor financially controlled her by forbidding her from opening a bank account or having independent financial resources, despite not providing for her.
“Anytime we had issues, he would put me under house arrest. He made it clear that I should not have my own money or even open a bank account, but he wasn’t giving me money either,” she revealed.
Desperate for financial independence, she secretly opened an Access Bank account and started a small business selling water and supplies for the ministry. However, Prophet Miracle allegedly discovered the account and manipulated bank staff into revealing her balance under the pretense of making a ₦500 million deposit.
When he found out, he accused her of stealing from him and running a business without his permission. He then allegedly abducted her and confined her in a rented house, taking away her phones to prevent her from reaching out for help.
Pastor’s Alleged Affairs and Marriage to Another Woman
Mrs. Miracle provided details of how her husband allegedly began an affair with a woman named Suzanna, who was previously married to another man named Ibrahim.
“He got married to me legally on December 28, 2017. By the end of 2019, Suzanna, who was married to Ibrahim, started attending our church. Rumours began to spread that he was dating her. He initially denied it, but I later discovered he had paid Suzanna’s bride price and moved her into a house in GRA,” she claimed.
According to her, Suzanna’s best friend, Amarachi, exposed the affair, providing recordings as evidence. Prophet Miracle allegedly refunded Suzanna’s bride price to her ex-husband before officially taking her as his wife.
Mrs. Miracle further alleged that a third woman had also moved in with the pastor, stating, “The second wife lives in a two-bedroom flat downstairs, while the third woman stays with him. I have never benefited anything from this man.”
Current Investigation and Police Intervention
Following her allegations and police intervention, Prophet Miracle remains in custody at the State CID. Mrs. Miracle insists she wants justice and freedom from the marriage, stating that she has suffered years of emotional, physical, and financial abuse.
The police have yet to release an official statement on the case.
