Popular American singer Ciara has finally broken her silence on her old beef with Rihanna.
Both celebrities were recently spotted on the red carpet of the MET Gala last month, with Ciara touching Rihanna’s baby bump.
Speaking during an interview on “Watch What Happens Live,” Ciara said that she has always had a lot of love for Riri.
According to her, they have both moved past their petty fight years ago because they are now mothers who have other pressing responsibilities to take care of.
Ciara revealed their drama began back in 2011 when they were still very young, but they’re full-blown mamas nowadays who must make better decisions.
“We were babies, now we’re mamas doing our thing, it’s all love,” she said.
Ciara maintained that one heartfelt conversation at the MET Gala was enough for them to leave the past behind.
She concluded by saluting mothers all over the world for doing everything to be better examples for their kids.
“We got to have a good conversation. She’s now having her third baby, which is so cool, so shout out to mamas out where doing everything, making it happen. CiCi got a lot of love for RiRi,” she added.
Their beef started in 2011 when Ciara said that Rihanna not being friendly at a party they both attended was a huge letdown because she had always admired her fashion game.
Replying, Rihanna wrote online, “My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #howrudeofme.”
Ciara fired back, “Trust me Rihanna, u don’t want to see me on or off the stage.”
Rihanna responded, “U gangsta huh? Haaa. Good luck bookin that stage u speak of.”
