A residential building belonging to veteran Nollywood actor Adeola Shoremi, popularly known as Lanko Omo Oba Dubai, has been gutted by fire.
The incident reportedly came to public attention on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, after his former wife, actress Mama No Network, shared a video of the affected property on her Instagram page. In her post, she expressed sympathy and prayed that the actor recovers from the losses suffered in the fire outbreak.
At the time of reporting, the cause of the fire had not been determined, and details regarding the extent of damage or possible casualties remain unclear.
Adeola Shoremi and Mama No Network were previously married in 2014 before their separation. The actress has since remarried in 2023.
In a related development, Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami has also raised concern after revealing that he was recently hospitalised following a severe health scare.
The actor made the disclosure on Monday via his Instagram page, where he shared a photo of himself on a hospital bed and stated that he narrowly escaped death within the past 48 hours. He expressed gratitude for survival and noted that the experience had been extremely difficult.
