Popular Nigerian TikTok streamer Peller has called out a pastor who allegedly used him and his girlfriend, Jarvis, as scapegoats during a church sermon.
He recently revealed that the pastor is nothing but a clout chaser and manipulator.
It all started when the preacher, identified as Pastor Keseina, accused the influencer couple of distracting Nigerian youths by influencing them wrongly. He further blamed them for the academic failure of his church members’ children in the recently concluded JAMB examinations.
“You know the young person mentoring people now? It is one guy that calls himself Peller. Young people now, it is on his phone they sit down from morning till night.
He is going about with a girl he is not married to and they are engaging in all kinds of nonsense thing. And to my generation teens, it is normal behaviour,
How can they pass JAMB, they cannot pass JAMB,” he said.
Reacting via his social media page, Peller said that the pastor’s statement was definitely not borne out of concern, and he is nothing but a clout chaser who is trying to manipulate his church members.
He revealed that the preacher intentionally named him and his girlfriend just to gain attention and boost the amount of offerings he gets from younger members of his congregation.
According to him, he never forces anybody to watch his live, so the pastor should expect to be sued for defamation.
“That pastor went to church to preach about Peller and Jarvis, saying we’re the reason his kids failed JAMB.
Nobody forces anyone to watch my live. We’ll sue that pastor because he used our name to collect offering. He used our name to preach because he knows all the Gen Z in the church will love him and bring offering,” Peller added.
