The Track World Athletics Talent Hurt (TWATH) Foundation showcased the remarkable potential of local female athletes during the 3rd edition of the Ogun Women Run on Saturday, December 7. The event, generously sponsored by Wamufat Agro-Allied Ltd, demonstrated the company’s commitment to promoting sports and community development.
Five talented athletes from the TWATH Foundation competed in the prestigious race, with Adewusi Asisat leading the pack by securing an impressive 4th place finish. Following closely were Edun Motunrola in 5th place, Oladiji Margaret in 6th, Bankole Boluwatife in 7th, and Fagbohun Sukurat rounding out the group in 8th position.
Wamufat Agro-Allied Ltd’s sponsorship was crucial in bringing this event to life, underscoring the company’s dedication to supporting local sports and youth development. The foundation’s mission to identify, develop, and support home-grown athletes was beautifully exemplified through this event.
Founded by a former NCAA Student-Athlete, the TWATH Foundation continues to pursue its vision of fostering sports growth, particularly in track and field. By combining education and athletics, the organization aims to create well-rounded individuals prepared for international success.
“We are incredibly grateful to Wamufat Agro-Allied Ltd for their support,” said a TWATH Foundation representative. “Their sponsorship allows us to provide opportunities for young athletes to showcase their talents and pursue their dreams.”
The Ogun Women Run not only highlighted the athletic prowess of local runners but also emphasized the importance of corporate support in developing grassroots sports talent.
